"Take a Picture of Your Local Weather."
Today, the weather was just perfect. Per Google weather, my area was 79 degrees, clear, 23 mph westerly winds and a humidity of 36% I think the numbers just basically articulated on how much I enjoy living in Southern California. Oh yeah.
Where else can I just get into the car and drive by the coast and just be happy shutterbug? And with Scalzi's assignment, it got me up and driving over the hill to RPV and check out Trump's National Golf Course.
I don't golf. I probably will never golf. I say probably because life is too short to say never. There's a slight probability that someday far, far down the line, I might actually pick up the club and finally tee off on my company's yearly golf outings.
However, this assignment got me to drive down to Rancho Palos Verdes to be a shutterbug on Trump's National Golf Course. Originally, this golf course was not owned by Trump. You can say he owned it by default because the 18th hole fell into the ocean. The original owners could not afford to shore up the 18th hole and eventually went bankrupt which Trump bought cheap at a mere $27 million.
I didn't get a good shot of the flagpole. However, one thing must be said about Trump is that he certainly loves to stir up controversy. In RPV, there is a strict standard on what can or cannot be erected. Well, Trump bypassed the building committee and erected an 70 ft tall flagpole. It caused a controversy because he didn't go through the permits and having something that tall was not allowed. However, you can say he won in the end because who's going to argue about taking down the American flag?
So, I got to see Trump's National Golf Course and take some shots of the sunny and slightly breezy weather. Today's weather was simply awesome and yes, there are times when I might consider moving because of the living costs but with weather like this? Look at the blues and greens, the colors makes it worthwhile to live in Southern California.

The weather this weekend was absolutely fantastic on both coasts! One for the books, and fine pics to go with it. The weather is a lot more fun to talk about when it's beautiful, isn't it?
